        If there is someone who epitomizes the late 20th-century legend of the entrepreneur. Then there is just one person he is the one who started a small business out of a tiny space and grew it to the most powerful companies in the world. Changing millions of lives. He started his company in 1975 and today his company rank under 30 in the fortune 500 lists. While he is the richest person alive on the planet today with the net worth $86 billion. Today we are going to talk about the rise and rise of the worlds biggest knowledge company "MICROSOFT". What's more, this is the example of overcoming adversity of "WILLIAM HENRY BILL GATES"


        Born on October 28th 1955. Bill Gates is one of the worlds most iconic and influential knowledge innovator. He attended Lakeside school in his native Seattle. Which was a fairly high-end school. At school, he changed the code and placed his roll number between two girls. Gates quickly grew addicted to new laptop systems and started an excellent deal of your time programming. 

        In 1970 at the age of fifteen Bill visited the business at the side of his friend Paul Allen. Together they developed a graph or data. A computer program that monitored traffic pattern in Seattle and got $20,000 for their afford. They were determined to start their own company. But gates parents told him to complete school and then go to college. They hoped that he could become a lawyer. He joined Harvard University and then he dropped out of Harvard University.


        He with his friend Paul worked on a pc software which was coded for ALTAIR 8800 COMPUTER. Later in 1975 gates and Allen formed partnership company that they called "MICROSOFT". Microsoft started on a shaky ground. Microsoft basic software was popular with computer hobbies, according to gates only 10% are using basic in Altair computer had paid for it. In Feb 1976 gates composed an open letter to PC habits that saying  "proceeded with circulation and utilization of programming without paying for it would keep great programming from being written”,

        At the beginning of 1979 gates moved the company operations to Washington. He put himself as the head of Microsoft and which grossed approximately $2.5 million out of 1979. At that time gates were only 23. Gates personally reviewed every line of the code and often rewrite the code himself whenever he saw it necessary. As the computer industry began to grow with companies like Apple, Intel, IBM developing hardware and components.


        In 1980 IBM was looking for software that would operate their upcoming personal computer. and they approached Microsoft for this. He bought an operating system that was developed to run on computers similar to IBM pc. He delivered the software for $50,000 fee. IBM asked the source code but he refused. Microsoft staff increased from 25 to 128 and revenue also increased from $2.5 million to $16 million.

        Then the Microsoft windows came into the picture. He launched windows after 2 years of the announcement. At the age of 31, he became a millionaire. List of versions of Microsoft Windows are Windows 1 in 1985, Windows 2 1987, Windows 3 in 1990,  Windows 95 in 1995, Windows 4 in 1996, Windows 98 in 1998, Windows 2000 in 2000, Windows ME in 2000, Windows XP in 2001, Windows Vista in 2007, Windows 7 in 2009, Windows 8 in 2012, Windows 10 in 2015.

        Then in 1st January 1994, he married to Melinda. Their first daughter, Jennifer, was born in 1996. Their child, Rory, was conceived in 1999 and a second little girl, Phoebe, was conceived in 2002.

        In 1994 his wealth was $101 billion. He started bill & Melinda gates foundation by making a $28 billion contribution.
